City Advertising For Volunteer for the Framingham Police Advisory Committee

 

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham is seeking applicants for the Police Advisory Committee. 

There is one opening. Current members are encouraged to reapply, but reappointment is not guaranteed. The Mayor appoints members in a volunteer role for a 3-year term length. 

 The Police Advisory Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Police Department by bringing to their attention feedback from the community concerning public safety issues. The Police Advisory Committee is devoted to facilitating the flow of ideas relative to police services for the Framingham community.

The deadline to apply is Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

 The Mayor will review the applications submitted by the deadline, and then make a nomination to the City Council. 

 The City Council, as the legislative division of City Government, has 30 days to approve or reject the Mayor’s nominations.
