    By submitting this form and the attached photo (must be in military uniform) I grant permission to the City of Framingham to use the photo submitted of myself or my relative on a City of Framingham Hometown Hero banner. 

    The City may use the image of the banner in promotional materials without notification or additional permission. I take full responsibility that all information provided about the veteran is accurate.

    If the Veteran is alive, he or she must sign this form.

26. Hometown Heroes for 2025 capped at 75

    The City of Framingham is launching the Hometown Heroes Banner program for 2025. 

    Applications submitted by the deadline will be considered. 

    Decisions will be made by conflict - World War I Veterans will take priority over Vietnam War or Gulf War Veterans. 

    Individuals that were not selected in 2024 will be contacted to be part of the 2025 program. 

    Individuals not selected in 2025 will be given first priority to new banners in 2026. 

    If you were a part of the 2024 program you are ineligible for the 2025 program.

    PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

    • Veteran must be in military uniform.
    • Only JPEG or PNG files are accepted.
    • Low-resolution photos may be rejected.
    • If the photo is too low resolution, the City will contact the applicant/Veteran for a higher-quality image.

    ALL submissions must include the DD2-14 form, or the submission will not be considered.
