Last year, the Historic District Commission formally kicked off an effort to establish a Local Historic District on Saxonville. You can find more information about this effort at the Saxonville Historical District page. As that work continues, Public Works has been investigating what it would take to make streetscape and roadway improvements to McGrath Square at the intersection of Central, Water, and Elm.
In February 2019, former C&ED Director Arthur Roberts presented a summary of the planning work done in Saxonville in the last five years as the basis for ongoing and planned implementation of improvements. View the presentation.
