Patrick Nizarudeen St.Pierre

Patrick Nizarudeen St. Pierre is a Framingham resident multidisciplinary artist and muralist whose work brings stories to life through vibrant, engaging visuals that spark the imagination. With a background in fine art and a passion for connecting with others through creativity, Patrick’s illustrations blend whimsical charm with meaningful themes, inspiring readers of all ages to explore the beauty and wonder of the world around them.

Growing up with a love for anime, video games, and the captivating music found in classics like Final Fantasy IX, Patrick’s creative journey has been shaped by the storytelling and artistry of interactive media. These influences inspire his work, which often combines the immersive qualities of gaming with the heartwarming depth of children’s stories. His passion for these mediums shines through in every piece, creating art that resonates deeply with young readers and adults alike.

Patrick’s artistic contributions extend to the public sphere, where he collaborates with his wife to create murals and large-scale artworks that celebrate community and diversity. They currently have a mural of multicultural birds on display in the downtown Library in partnership with the Literacy Unlimited program. Other notable projects include a heart sculpture for the Framingham “MANY CULTURES, ONE HEART” project and the Tree of Life sculpture installed at Open Spirit. He also co-curated Collective Journeys: Framingham's Stories of Immigration exhibit at the Framingham History Center, which is currently open to the public. Patrick currently serves on the board of the Framingham Centre Common Cultural District (FCCCD), using his platform to support and uplift the arts within his community.

As an Illustrator, Patrick has published two children’s books about Derrick, a young Black superhero who overcomes his fear of visiting the doctor. These stories provide comfort and encouragement to children navigating new experiences. Patrick is also working on The Save the Earth Club, a collaboration with the local community group Keep Framingham Beautiful (KFB), which aims to inspire children to care for the environment and take pride in their communities.

Patrick is deeply committed to giving back. Every year, he participates in the Extra Life 25-hour live-stream gaming marathon to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, combining his love for video games with his desire to support children and families in need.

When he isn’t illustrating, Patrick enjoys traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time in nature with his wife and their dog, Lucy. Dedicated to creating heartfelt works, Patrick encourages children to dream big, connect with others, and embrace their own creativity.
