Plumbing & Gas Permit Fee Schedules

This fee schedule is effective as of April 1, 2008, and was approved by the Board of Selectmen on February 19, 2008.

Plumbing and Gas Inspector - Mark Shahood

• Requests for same day inspections must be made no later than 9:30 a.m.
• Re-inspection fee for each notice is $50.00
• There will be a surcharge of $100.00 for work started without a permit.

Plumbing Permit Fees

Residential (1 and 2 Family Dwellings)

• New and Renovation - $50.00 for the first fixture; $6.00 for each additional fixture
• Piping and Treatment of Special Waste - $100.00
• Backflow Preventer - $30.00
• Irrigation Meters - $30.00

Commercial (Includes 3 Plus Units)

• New and Renovation - $100.00 per unit for first fixture plus $10.00 for each additional fixture.
• Backflow Preventer - $50.00

Gas Fitter's Permit Fees

Residential (1 & 2 Family Dwellings)

New and Renovation - $50.00 for the first appliance; $6.00 each additional appliance.

• Boiler/Water Heater combination (connection included in fee) $75

Commercial (Includes 3 Plus Units)

• New and Renovation (3 plus units) - $100.00 per unit for first appliance plus $10.00 each additional appliance.
• All elevated gas pressure permits or appliances - $50.00 extra

Re-inspection fee for each notice is $50.00 
Working without a permit is a surcharge of $100.00
