For ages 55+ - LATIN MUSIC, PART 2 – Presented by Dr. Brett Abigaña -- Join Dr. Brett Abigaña as we delve into the music of Spain, Portugal, and Central and South America. We’ll hear and learn about Peruvian music from the Andes, the passionate singing of Portuguese Fado, Mexican Mariachi and Ranchera, and explore new trends in Latin music as it continues to be enjoyed throughout the world. Dr. Abigaña is a composer whose music has been performed throughout the world. He has written a wide variety of music including chamber music and numerous pieces for orchestra and symphonic band.
