For ages 55+ -- The British reigned supreme in their domination of the Atlantic Ocean during the American Revolution. Their fledgling colonies could barely maintain a small fleet to counter the aggression. But due to the unpredictable weather along the eastern seaboard and in the Caribbean, the British Navy suffered catastrophic losses. Join five-time Boston/New England Emmy Award-winning historian John Horrigan as he discusses the great shipwrecks of the American Revolution. Please call to register in advance: 508-532-5980. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Framingham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and in part by the Rosanne Bergman Trust.
