SIFOC to Hold 2 Public Hearings on Issues Important to Residents The City of Framingham’s Strategic Initiatives and Financial Oversight Committee (SIFOC) is holding two public hearings regarding the future of Framingham. As part of its mission outlined in the Framingham Home Rule Charter, SIFOC advises the Mayor, the Council and School Committee on Framingham’s long term planning. Since the spring, SIFOC has met with members of Framingham’s government to discuss the issues facing Framingham and the strategic planning process. SIFOC welcomes residents to share their vision and ideas for Framingham’s strategic plan at public hearings on Monday, September 23 and Monday, October 7, both at 7:00 pm. Each hearing will focus on specific topics. Monday, September 23rd at 7pm in Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street. The topics for discussion are: • Economic Development • Housing • Municipal Government Structure • Affordability
