    The theme of this year’s contest is “city” recognizing that Framingham is the Commonwealth’s newest city All submissions draw inspiration from or respond to this theme in some way. The submissions must be new and original and not copies or reinterpretations of works by others nor have been submitted or exhibited previously. The students must be age 11-18 as of January 1, 2018.

    The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) is proud to showcase its talented faculty at a free concert on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the Costin Room at the Framingham Public Library (49 Lexington Street, Framingham). Hear PAC’s acclaimed faculty sing and perform on the piano, trumpet, guitar and drums in a variety of musical styles including classical and jazz. Stay afterwards to meet the performers and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Seating is first come, first served. Participating faculty include Martha Ebel and Eliomar Nascimento presenting vocal performances; Brian Voelz on trumpet; David Owens and Ann Stimson on piano; Jimmy Lanzillotta on guitar; and Robert Johnson on drums.
