  2. Heritage Chorale Pops 2018 - Humor Us!

    February 11, 2018, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Nevins Hall, Memorial Building

Smile, chuckle, chortle, and maybe even laugh out loud with songs sporting a comical twist. Enjoy the mock-seriousness of “Jack cum Amico Jill” — the Latin version of “Jack and Jill” — and foot-stomping Liebeslieder Polkas by P. D. Q. Bach. Encounter Mary's Little Lamb, a barn-full of animals in Copland’s “I Got Me a Cat,” the famous blind mice in Porter’s “Mouse Madrigal,” and even the whiting and the snail in Lewis Carroll’s “Lobster Quadrille” from “Alice in Wonderland.” To the wonderful sounds of the Heritage Chorale, add the Pops Silent Auction and post-concert reception to help you shed winter gray and “Look on the Bright Side of Life”! Before and after the concert, enjoy the Chorale's 2nd Annual Silent Auction – tickets, restaurant gift cards, sewing lessons, and a world of other wonderful items will be featured!
