    November 18, 2018, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Parking lot of Plymouth Church

The Callahan Center is organizing a volunteer, Fall Leaf Raking and Yard Clean Up activity to help Framingham older residents who do not have the resources, in terms of family and funds, to undertake that work themselves. Work is envisioned as being done in three (3) hour shifts on those days at assigned private residence sites. A morning shift will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. An afternoon shift will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is hoped that workers will do one or more shifts each. Those working a morning shift would report at 8:45 a.m. Those working afternoon shifts would report by 12:45 p.m. There will be just one afternoon shift Sunday November 18th. Volunteers are sought from schools, scouts, youth groups, church groups, and companies. Volunteers will be asked to bring their own hand tools, rakes, electric blowers, and gloves, etc. Groups must have adult supervision – leaders, teachers, parents, must be present, where individuals are 13 years of age or under.
