Since Friday, June 19, Four Residents Have Tested Positive, Six More have Recovered, and 
City Learns of One New Fatality Related to COVID-19;
Health Department Distributes Demographic COVID-19 Data;
Reminder: Community Hour Tues. - Part Two of the Phase Two Reopening, What it Means for Framingham

  • Since Friday, June 19, four residents have tested positive, six more have recovered, and City learns of one new fatality related to COVID-19The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 1,713. With 1,397 cases recovered and 109 fatalities, Framingham currently has 207 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). In addition to the active cases, the Health Department is following 102 residents in quarantine.

  • The City’s Department of Public Health distributes demographic COVID-19 data every Monday on all confirmed Cases in Framingham since March 1, 2020: Data includes information about confirmed cases by age, gender, race/ethnicity, fatalities, nursing homes, and residential settings.

  • Zoom Community Hour focused on Part Two of the Phase Two Reopening, What it Means for Framingham, Tuesday, June 23, at 5 p.m.: Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer will be joined by other leaders for her Community Hour to discuss what part two of the phase two reopening means for the City. Attendees will be able to pose questions during the hour via Zoom’s Chat function. If people cannot attend and have questions, please email kmcfalls@framinghamma.gov with the subject line: June 23 Community Hour. Click here for information on how to join.
