Seminole Avenue Closed For Emergency Drainage Work Staring August 7

FRAMINGHAM – Beginning Monday, August 7, Seminole Avenue will be closed to through traffic, so Framingham Department of Public Works can complete an emergency drainage repair project.

The work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents and emergency vehicles will have access at all times, with some minor delays.

This DPW work in the Tripoli neighborhood, is in addition to the Eversource work on Higley Road in Ashland, which has been impacting Fay Road.

Fay Road has been closed at Higley Road with a detour onto Seminole. With the drainage repair scheduled for Seminole Avenue, the Eversource detour on Fay Road will be pushed to Weybosett Avenue.

Police will be on site.
