Sign Up for City of Framingham BeachAlert Notification System

FRAMINGHAM - Introducing BeachAlert, a comprehensive notification system designed to keep residents informed about the status of the City of Framingham’s trio of local beaches.

BeachAlert provides timely updates, ensuring that residents are well-informed about beach closures, openings, and other essential information pertaining to the beach conditions.

Through BeachAlert, residents can receive real-time notifications directly to their preferred devices, such as smartphones, tablets, or computers. The system leverages cutting-edge technology and reliable data sources to deliver accurate and up-to-date information.

Beach closures due to water contamination, severe weather conditions, or any other factors will be promptly communicated, enabling residents to adjust their plans accordingly and prioritize their safety.

As of today, July 19, both Learned Pond beach and Lake Waushakum beach are closed due to bacteria.

Conversely, BeachAlert will also notify residents when the beaches are ready for reopening after closures.

The BeachAlert system aims to create a stronger and more connected community by empowering residents with crucial beach-related information.

By providing accurate and timely notifications, BeachAlert ensures that residents can make informed decisions and stay well-prepared for their beach outings.
