*COVID-19 UPDATE*
Since Wednesday, 117 Residents have Tested Positive, 50 More have Recovered, and City Learns of One New Fatality Associated with COVID-19; 
Framingham to Continue Limited Access to City Hall with Assessors’, Treasure’s and City Clerk’s Offices Open to Walk-ins and all Other Divisions/Departments Available by Appointment Only

  • Since Wednesday, 117 residents have tested positive, 50 more have recovered, and the City learns of one new fatality associated with COVID-19: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 5,422. With 3,996 recovered and 187 fatalities, Framingham currently has 1,239 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). In addition to the active cases, the Health Department is following 568 residents in quarantine.

  • Following Governor Baker's extension to measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Massachusetts, access to Framingham City Hall (150 Concord Street) will continue to be limited: Only the Treasurer/Collectors' Office (Rm. 111),  City Clerk's Office (Rm. 105) and the Assessors’ Office (Room 101) will be open to walk-ins. All other divisions/departments will be available by appointment only. View contact information for divisions/departments here to schedule an appointment. If you don't have access to the internet, the City's Informational Line at (508) 532-5411 is open to answer questions. Assistance is available Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Inspectional Services has installed a locked drop box located in the hallway, close to the Treasurer/Collectors office, and opposite City Hall's grand staircase to allow Building Permit Applications to be dropped off. The building will be open and appointments available Mon., Wed., and Thurs., 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; Tues., 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Fri., 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The following City Hall doors will be open: ADA-compliant entrance on Union Ave., (next to ramp); ADA-compliant entrance at the rear of the building (by the elevator); and the side door on Concord St. Decreased access to City Hall will remain in effect until at least January 24 unless further extended.
