*COVID-19 UPDATE*
Since Wednesday, 24 Residents have Tested Positive, and 15 More have Recovered from COVID-19;
Community Outreach Teams in Framingham this Weekend;
Reminder: Drive-through Testing at Walsh Middle School Ends Saturday, Oct. 31, and Resumes Monday, Nov. 2, at New Location – The TJX Companies, Inc. Offices - (Entrance to the Testing Site is on Speen Street near the Mass Pike Exit Ramp Overpass)

  • Since Wednesday, 24 residents have tested positive, and 15 more have recovered from COVID-19: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 2,610. With 2,263 recovered and 146 fatalities, Framingham currently has 201 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). In addition to the active cases, the Health Department is following 161 residents in quarantine. 

  • Community Outreach Teams in Framingham this weekend to increase COVID-19 education:
    Anticipated Schedule for Saturday, October 31:
    • 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Seabra Foods (208 Waverly St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
    • 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Tesoros Supermarket (80 Hollis St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
    • 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Cushing Memorial Park (80 Dudley Rd.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers
    • 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Business walk along Franklin St., and Hollis St. to hand out flyers and distribute window signs and stacks of literature to businesses
    • 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Care Kit Drop in Franklin St., Warren Rd., and Union Ave. neighborhoods. Organizers go door to door and leave a bag of educational materials, masks, and disinfectant wipes at each home.

Anticipated Schedule for Sunday, November 1:

  • 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Seabra Foods (208 Waverly St.), hand out flyers and hand sanitizers

  • 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: Care Kit Drop in Franklin St., Warren Rd., and Union Ave. neighborhoods

Please Note: Schedule, locations, and outreach initiatives are subject to change

  • Free, drive-through COVID-19 testing ends at Walsh Middle School Saturday, Oct. 31, and resumes on Monday, Nov. 2, at TJX offices, 770 Cochituate Road: 
    • Location: 770 Cochituate Road, Framingham, MA 01701 (entrance to the testing site is on Speen Street near the Mass Pike exit ramp overpass)
    • Days/Time: Monday to Saturday– 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 
    • Eligibility: Open to everyone; symptomatic and asymptomatic  with no appointment
    • Format: Drive-through only 
    • Cost: FREE; no health insurance required 
    • Test Results: People will receive results in approximately 72 hours from Fallon Ambulance, who is conducting the tests.
