Nine Additional Residents Test Positive, and 39 More have Recovered,
City Learns of One New COVID-19 Related Fatality;

  • Nine additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 39 more people have recovered from the virus, and the City learns of one new COVID-19-related fatality: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is now 1,465. Today’s fatality is connected to a nursing home. With 622 cases recovered and 81 fatalities, Framingham currently has 762 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 250 residents in quarantine.
