Osmose Utility to Begin Inspecting Utility Poles on May 20 Throughout the City of Framingham

Framingham, MA- The Framingham Department of Public Works has issued a street permit to Osmose Utility, a Verizon Wireless subcontractor, allowing them to inspect utility poles throughout the City that are located in the public right-of-way.

Inspections will begin on May 20 and are being conducted proactively by Verizon to deliver maintenance and to identify utility poles to be scheduled for replacement. Workers will be in Osmose-branded vehicles, dressed in safety attire, and carry identification badges.

Per Massachusetts law, Osmose Utility is required to file Dig Safe tickets. Dig Safe paint markings will be visible near utility poles throughout the City.
