Twenty-eight Additional Residents Test Positive, and 13 More have Recovered,
City Learns of Three New COVID-19 Related Fatalities  

  • Twenty-eight additional residents test positive for COVID-19, 13 more people have recovered from the virus, and the City learns of three new COVID-19-related fatalities: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is now 1,446. Two of today’s fatalities are connected to nursing homes. With 574 cases recovered and 77 fatalities, Framingham currently has 795 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts the people who were potentially exposed and the owners of the businesses or places of employment where the potential exposures occurred to inform and counsel them on next steps (contact tracing). In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 247 residents in quarantine.
