Meters Become Operational October 1, 2019

Framingham- The City has reinstalled 146 parking meters on five streets in downtown Framingham. The new meters are smart meters and take both credit cards and coins. To learn how to use the meters, check out this video:

The new meters are located on:

• Concord Street

• Hollis Street

• Howard Street

• Park Street

• Union Avenue

Metered parking fees are $1.25 per hour or $2 for two hours. Maximum parking time is two hours. The fine for a violation, i.e. time violation or taking up two metered spots is $15.00 each. Framingham will enforce parking Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays and holidays are free.

Framingham removed its parking meters two years ago to allow for the installation of sidewalks.
