FRAMINGHAM, MA – The City of Framingham announced today that following an RFP process, involving four Emergency Management Services (EMS) companies, that it has selected Brewster Ambulance Service as its new provider. Brewster begins July 1, replacing AMR, which has been Framingham’s EMS provider for the past 25 years.

Brewster will provide:

 Five state-of-art, brand new ambulances staffed with paramedics twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year

 Paramedic supervisor dedicated to the City

 Mobile simulation lab for advanced medical skills training for Framingham Fire Fighters

 Specialized incident resources - mobile rehab units, utility type vehicles and drones for City use

 Future mobile integrated health programs to assist in limiting unnecessary Emergency Room visits
