Framingham Public Works Announces Neighborhood Meetings for Spring 2019
Framingham, MA- Public Works is pleased to announce upcoming neighborhood meetings to provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about upcoming projects in and around their neighborhoods.
Union Ave Utilities, Monday, March 18, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.Framingham Public Library, Costin Room, 49 Lexington Street, Framingham 01702 City staff and consultants will present plans for upcoming improvements of water, sewer, and drainage systems, and repaving of Union Ave. between Walnut St. and Beech St. and in the hospital area (Thurber, Learned, Myrtle, Evergreen, and Lincoln Streets.).
Staff will also present planned improvements of water and sewer systems, and repaving of Union Ave. between Beech St. and Proctor St. and on Pearl St. This work is included in the recommended FY20 Capital Budget request and is subject to funding.
Beaver Street Bridge Replacement, Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. Woodrow Wilson School Cafeteria, 169 Leland Street, Framingham 01702 City staff and consultants will present plans for the bridge replacement on Beaver Street near the Mary Dennison Park playground. This project includes the installation of a new bridge with drainage, sidewalk and safety improvements. The project will require a full time vehicular and pedestrian detour during the spring and summer of this year.
Salem End Road Bridge Rehabilitation, Monday, April 29, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.Framingham City Hall , Blumer Room, 150 Concord Street, Framingham 01702 City staff and consultants will present plans for the rehabilitation of the Salem End Road Bridge. The presentation will cover the planned improvements, traffic management plans, and other aspects of the project.
