Notice of Preliminary Certification of Real & Personal Property Assessed Values

The City of Framingham Board of Assessors has completed a revaluation of all property for FISCAL YEAR 2019 as required by MGL Ch 40 s.56 and MGL Ch. 58 s.1, 1A, 3.


The Massachusetts State Department of Revenue, Division of Local Services has given Preliminary Certification of both real and personal property values. These values represent full fair cash value for the current tax year. The proposed real and personal property values will be available for review by the public from October 4, 2018 through October 12, 2018 by visiting the following sites:

  • www.framinghamma.gov/Assessors 
  • City of Framingham Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street, Framingham MA 01702.

    Department Hours: M,W,Th 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m./Tue 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m./ Fri 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.


The certification process consists of:

  • A data quality review
  • A statistical ratio study
  • A valuation review  to ensure that proper appraisal methodology was utilized while uniformly and equitably applied to all property
