The Framingham Water Department will conduct its annual Water Main Flushing Program in sections of the City from Monday, October 1, 2018 through Friday, November 30, 2018. Water main flushing will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in residential areas and 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in business areas. The Water Main Flushing Program is an important piece of the Department's maintenance plan to ensure high quality drinking water is available to residents and businesses in the City.The areas to be flushed are bounded by Waverly Street, the Natick town line, Franklin Street, Dudley Road, and Worcester Road. View the map here.The flushing process may cause discolored water and/or a reduction in pressure. The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful.
