Framingham Veterans Services and Medical Reserve Corps Collecting White Socks for Homeless Veterans

The Framingham Medical Reserve Corps is collecting white socks for Operation Stand Down with the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses. Nurse and MRC volunteers have been providing foot care to at-risk and homeless veterans since 2008. Look for the box at the Sock Hop Concert on the Green on August 10th if you wish to donate a pair of white socks.

Needed: white socks -- tube, sport or athletic to support homeless and at risk veterans at the Annual Greater Boston Stand Down Event.

The Veterans Services Office (Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street, Room B11) and the Medical Reserve Corps Office (Fuller Middle School,31 Flagg Drive, Door 14) will continue to collect sock donations through September 1st, 2018.
