For ages 55+ -- Presented by John Gardella -- This program will examine Napoleon Bonaparte’s background, early career and his rise to power at the end of the French Revolution. Learn about Napoleon’s reforms in France, the Napoleonic Wars leading to the rise and fall of the French Empire, and his final years in exile. Presenter John Gardella taught Advanced Placement World History and U.S. Government and Politics during his 25 years at Gardner High School.
