Put A LID On It: Managing Your Community’s Stormwater In A Changing Climate

Monday, February 25, 2019

Put A LID On It: Managing Your Community’s Stormwater In A Changing Climate Building a more sustainable future starts with making choices in your own backyard. Low Impact Development (LID) is a design approach that maximizes benefits of natural systems, such as flood storage, in areas of a community that are vulnerable to flooding or water quality impairments. Explore examples of LID in Framingham and learn how to adapt to storm-water management challenges from folks who have led their community through this non-traditional development process. RSVP: Please email Ariel amaiorano@massaudubon.org Massaudubon.org/shapingevents This is a FREE Event, light refreshments provided AICP members can earn 12.75 Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for this activity.
