City Hall to Partially Reopen Monday, June 1, & other Buildings Closed until Further Notice

City Hall at 150 Concord Street to partially reopen to the public Monday, June 1: Two public-facing offices on the first floor and bathrooms located on the bottom floor will be open to the public (Mon., Wed., Thurs., 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; Tues. 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Fri. 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.), starting June 1. Not all City Hall doors will be open Monday. The doors that will be unlocked include both of the ADA compliant openings. One is located in the rear of the building, by the elevator, and the other is on Union Avenue next to the ramp. The City Clerk’s Office (Room 105) will be open by appointment only (Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-1 p.m.) and the Treasurer/Collector’s Office (Room 111) will be open for walk-ins to allow people to pay their City bills in person while the building is open Mon.-Fri. Appointments with the Clerk’s office can be made to retrieve vital information such as marriage, birth and death certificates; apply and pay for dog licenses; register to vote; apply for and retrieve business certificates; and submit for certification of signatures on initiative petition papers for the November state ballot. Appointments for the City Clerk can be made by calling (508) 532-5520. When speaking to the Clerk’s office, you will receive instructions on how to proceed. The new shortened hours will allow for further cleaning and disinfecting of the building. Per Governor Baker's Order and the City of Framingham's Emergency Order, face coverings will be required. Residents are also asked to practice social distancing.

Public buildings such as, Libraries, Public Works Offices, Callahan Center, Loring Arena, Parks and Recreation Administration, and playgrounds will remain closed to the public, until further notice.

The lobby to both the Police Department and Fire Headquarters is closed to the public until further notice.
