Applicants must pass a written entry level law enforcement examination that measures the applicants' psychological aptitude for a law enforcement position.
Applicants must have a good driving history and a valid drivers license.
Applicants must successfully complete an oral interview screening before an Interview Committee and a ranking officer of the Framingham Police Department.
Applicants will be subject to an in-depth background investigation.
Applicants must provide documentation from their Medical Doctor, at their own expense, that they are medically fit to fulfill the requirements documented in the auxiliary police position description.
Based on a review of all information gathered during the recruitment process, the Framingham Auxiliary Police has the right to reject an applicant or recommend acceptance.
Appointments of probationary auxiliary officers are made after receiving approval from the Framingham Police Department.
