The Housing Rehabilitation Program assists qualified low and moderate income property owners in making necessary repairs, such as:
Financial assistance is available in the form of deferred payment, no-interest loans to low-income owner-occupants. Loan amounts and repayment terms will vary according to the work involved, the number of dwelling units in the structure, and the income of the residents.
Funds are also available to lower-income homeowners and rental properties (where the majority of the tenants are low income) in lower-income neighborhoods to carry out exterior rehabilitation in tandem with code-related repairs.

The City of Framingham's Community Development Department (CDD) administers Housing Rehabilitation Programs designed to assist homeowners in their efforts to repair and improve their residential properties throughout the City.
A list of licensed and insured contractors interested in performing housing rehabilitation work is now being updated for use by the CDD. We invite interested Contractors to apply. Minority and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate.
