The Community Development Department is responsible for administering the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Programs.
The funds received through these programs makes possible a number of community development and housing assistance programs and activities.
The Community Development Department exists to serve the needs of the community, and it would be impossible to judge those needs without the input of residents. With this in mind, the Department circulates a Needs Assessment Survey every year to identify how best to allocate its resources.
