ABOUT THE EVENT: 

The city of Framingham is Hosting the 32nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and  Outdoor Holiday Block Party on Friday, December 1 from 5 pm - 7:30 pm

Holiday Block Party from City Hall Plaza Down Union Avenue to Include Free Digital Pictures, Hot Chocolate and Treats, Music, a Story Walk, Free Books, and More

All are welcome to watch as Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in grand style atop a Framingham Fire Engine before lighting the tree.

Kids of all ages can tour the Story Walk produced by the Public Library and the Book Mobile. Attendees will also snack on popcorn, cookies, candy canes, and hot chocolate, select a free book, and enjoy holiday tunes provided by the Rousseau Family’s antique oil truck. 

People will be able to pose for pictures in front of a green screen after choosing from one of the festive backgrounds. The pictures will be available for digital download the next day for free. 

Attendees can park in several public parking lots, including City Hall, Main Library, Danforth Building, and the Pearl Street Garage. Some street parking will be available first-come-first-serve.

Framingham City Hall  - City Hall Plaza & Union Ave / 150 Concord Street 

PARKING INFORMATION: 

Main parking will be in the municipal lot behind City Hall, the Framingham Public Library, and the Danforth building.
