On-street Parking, Meter Fees, and Takeout Parking
On-street parking meter fees will temporarily be waived
To support Framingham residents and businesses as they deal with the financial impacts of COVID-19, temporarily on-street parking meters fees shall be suspended for the duration of the local state of emergency declared by the Mayor, with fees to resume after the local state of emergency is lifted.
parking regulations (based on time) will temporarily not be enforced
Temporarily Framingham parking enforcement officers will not enforce parking restrictions based on time or issue tickets for overtime parking violations anywhere in the City of Framingham until the local state of emergency is lifted. View the Mayor’s executive order here.
temporary 15-minute Takeout parking spots
To support Framingham restaurants, the Traffic Commission and City Council, voted to temporarily implement a free 15-minute parking limit at twenty on-street parking locations in the downtown area (Concord Street and Hollis Street) for takeout food pickup.
