Framingham’s Skatepark opened on June 21, 2018 at Farm Pond Park on Dudley Road. It offers beautiful views of Farm Pond, on site parking, nearby recreational paths (paved and wooded), a playground, and open greenspace. It is located approximately 1 mile from the downtown area, where you will find shopping, restaurants, and commuter rail station. The Skatepark is constructed of concrete and includes features like a bench, a rail, stairs, ledges, bowls, and ramps. Bring your skateboard, scooter, or bmx bike and enjoy the park.
Are you new to skateboarding and want to learn more? Our Framingham Recreation Department offers skateboard lessons in the summer months. For Program info click here

Construction of the skatepark
The Skatepark was designed by Pillar Designs and constructed by Artisan Skateparks. After years of planning, construction began in the fall of 2017, then finished up in the spring of 2018. Part of the design process was outreach to the local community. There were two design workshops offered, where local residents, City Officials, and representatives from Pillar Design discussed and collaborated on what features to include in this project. Both workshops were well attended and public input was taken into consideration during the design phase.
Thank you to the Skatepark Advisory Committee members, City Officials, residents, and skaters for dedicating their time and energy to this process.
