Project overview
This project will repair the Potter Road Bridge located over the Sudbury River. The bridge is situated in between the City of Framingham on Potter Road and the Town of Wayland on Stonebridge Road. This two-span, concrete bridge was originally constructed in 1957. The proposed structural repair work will extend the existing bridge life. Taking these repair initiatives now will avoid major or total reconstruction in the future. Bridge design and repair costs will be shared between the City of Framingham and the Town of Wayland.
Project update - Spring 2022
Design work is complete, and the project is ready for construction. However, construction funding from the Town of Wayland is delayed. Wayland’s share of the project will be voted on at their Annual Town Meeting, slated for May 14, 2022.
