The Department of Public Works will restore the roadway on Summer Street from Central Street to Concord Street (5,200 LF) and Beacon Street from Route 9 to Summer Street (4,000 LF). Work includes milling and overlaying the pavement, existing sidewalk restoration with ADA improvements, and redesigned intersections at Beacon and Summer Street and at Summer Street and Central Street.
The majority of the work will take place during the daytime. Traffic management plans (TMP) for the work area will be implemented to ensure the safety of residents, traffic and workers; a map of the TMP will be made available on the project webpage.
