Water Main Flushing

The Water Department will begin conducting its Fall 2021 Water Main Flushing on Monday, October 4, through Friday, November 12, 2021. Flushing will be conducted Monday-Friday (excluding holidays), from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The purpose of the program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses in Framingham.

the areas to be flushed are bounded by:

  • Maple Street
  • Franklin Street
  • Grove Street
  • Blackberry Lane
  • Southborough Town Line

The flushing process may cause discolored water and a reduction in pressure. The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful. If the condition persists, please contact the Framingham Water Department. The Water Department appreciates your patience as it works to improve the quality of drinking water provided to residents and businesses in Framingham.
