Prior to any welding, cutting, or hot work activity, a permit shall be obtained from the Fire Department per Section 1.05 Table 1.12.8.23 in the Massachusetts State Fire Code. Permit applications can be made online or by mail:

To apply by mail, the application & authorization form below shall be completed and mailed with the Hot Work Certification to:

A check for $25, made payable to the City of Framingham, should also be included with the above documents.
