The facility is home to Bowditch Field, a top quality natural turf playing surface complete with a 6-lane track (with seasonal walking lights for nighttime usage) and modern stands capable of accommodating approximately 5300-spectators.
The Bowditch Track (1/4 mile) is open to residents for walking and running unless otherwise noted. At times, we may have permitted events or scheduled maintenance at the track/field which may temporarily prohibit public use. Weather conditions such as snow or Ice may also prohibit use. During closures you may have the option to use the perimeter path (approximately 1/2 mile) around the outside of the stadium or visit another nearby park for outdoor activity. Cushing Memorial Park and Farm Pond Park have multi recreational paths and are approximately 1.5 miles from Bowditch Field Complex. Please check back for updates on Bowditch Track Closures.
Bowditch Athletic and Cultural Complex hosts multiple sporting events for 2 local high schools, 2 area colleges, various youth leagues and semi-professional teams located within Metro West. Site amenities include 4 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, 6-lane track, designated areas for track and field events and NCAA regulation baseball diamond.
In addition to these amenities, the tennis courts, basketball courts, track and multi-use playing surface of Bowditch Field are lit by multilevel lighting to support night time recreational and sporting activities.
