Town of Framingham
On-line Public Archive

The Town of Framingham on-line archive of public information is a collection of electronic documents and scanned paper documents. The documents are organized into a logical grouping of folders. Each document has additional metadata, called a template, that stores information about the document including the date it was created, who created it, the type of information contained in the document, and an indicator for keeping the document beyond its required date of retention.  See Tech Notes for more details.

Disclaimer

This is not a public records archive per se but an archive of documents that includes town meeting background materials and meeting minutes for those boards and committees that provide an electronic form suitable for posting. There is no archivist on staff in the Town of Framingham and there is no mandate to post materials to the archive.  Postings are voluntary and should not be considered official documents of the Town.  Although ever effort is made, they may not be the most complete or most up to date version.
