PRESS RELEASE

I am pleased to announce that Brian Stearns has been appointed as Director of Veterans Services for the Town of Framingham. Mr. Stearns has served most recently as Director of Veterans Services for the Town of Hudson since 2005. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served at various assignments around the world, including the Middle East and Southwest Asia, as well as in various management and supervisory capacities from 1980-1995. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Brian brings an excellent combination of education and experience to this position. His salary will be $56,000 annually. He will begin his position on February 25. The Veterans Services Office operates within the Human Resources Division of Town Government.
