The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program:
  • Supports the development and maintenance of diverse housing
  • Commits to ensuring quality housing is available to households and individuals of low and moderate income.

Programs
The Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Program and the First Time Homeowners Program are available to eligible households and individuals.

The Housing Rehabilitation Assistance program assists low and moderate income homeowners in the correction and repairs of health and safety hazards of their home.

The CDBG program also offers down payment and closing costs assistance to prospective low and moderate income homebuyers interested in purchasing a home in Framingham and who qualify for the Soft Second Program.
