Overview
The Town of Framingham is home to a wide variety of land with diverse uses. The Town’s 26 square miles contain:

Staff Support
The Community and Economic Development Department staffs the Zoning Board of Appeals with a Senior Planner and a full time administrative assistant.

The staff provides administrative support as well as providing Department comments on projects before the Zoning Board of Appeals. The department also:
  • Provides comment on projects before the Planning Board
  • Conducts substantial land use analysis for town committees
  • Advocates for smart land use decision-making
