Framingham, MA – On Tuesday, June 5, 2018 the Framingham City Council proclaimed June as LGBTQ Pride Month in Framingham. LGBTQ Pride Month celebrates the individuals and members of Framingham’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning community who contribute greatly to our neighborhoods, culture and social fabric of our city. Framingham is a welcoming and inclusive community for LGBTQ individuals and families.
"Having the very first proclamation issued by the City Council on the topic of LGBTQ pride speaks volumes to the importance of diversity in our community," said City Council Chair Dennis Giombetti
“Framingham is a wonderful city because of the people who live here. It was a privilege Tuesday evening to have the opportunity to publicly assert support for valued members of our community,” said Cheryl Tully Stoll, Councilor At Large.
