Team Framingham 2018 Seeks Program Corporate Sponsors

FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Team Framingham Steering Committee is actively seeking corporate sponsors to help defray the costs for running the 2018 Team Framingham fundraising and training program for the 22 lucky runners who will be chosen by random selection to run the 2018 Boston Marathon with a Town of Framingham entry.

Steering Committee Chair Jen Feaster kicked off the recruitment of corporate sponsors earlier this week.  “The Team Framingham Steering Committee is comprised of volunteers, and supports the runners through a comprehensive training program, monthly meetings, and fundraising assistance.  Program costs are defrayed by sponsorships, to cover team tee shirts, bussing costs, our Framingham street light pole banners, guest speakers for our team meetings, and other important supports” Feaster stated.

Program Corporate Sponsorships for 2018 will go for $500. Corporate sponsors will have their logo on the team t-shirt, a street banner with their corporate logo hung prominently on street light poles in downtown Framingham or along the Marathon course, and will receive generous publicity in many of our Team Framingham press releases.

For the third straight year Michael P. Cannon and Associates has signed on as a $500 Corporate Sponsor. Mike Cannon is pictured here presenting a $500 check to Team Framingham Steering Committee Chair Jen Feaster at the October 12th Steering Committee meeting.

For the second straight year Petrini and Associates has stepped forward to become a $500 sponsor.
