Senior Citizen Parking Permit

SENIOR CITIZEN PARKING PERMIT

Definitions:

Senior Citizen: A Framingham resident who is sixty-five (65) years of age or older.

Sticker: A permit issued by the Framingham Police Department which is to be affixed to the driver’s side window of the vehicle.

Motor Vehicle: The vehicle owner or operated by the Senior Citizen who is requesting the permit.


Qualifications & Regulations:

Motor vehicles operated by a qualified Senior Citizen, and with a proper sticker attached, may park at a Town owned parking meter for no cost, for a period of up to two (2) hours, as posted.

The sticker must be visible while the motor vehicle is parked.

The permit does not authorize the Operator to park in any restricted area or exempt the Operator from any other parking violations.

The permit will not be valid for meter parking in any other City or Town.

The permit will not be valid if someone other than the registered Senior Citizen is operating the motor vehicle to which is it affixed.

The permit is NOT transferable to another vehicle.

Penalties: The fine for improper use or allowing the improper use of the Senior Citizen Parking

Permit is $5.00
