FRAMINGHAM CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC ALERT FOR THE WEEK OF June 27-July 1, 2016 (Construction schedules are weather permitting.)

ANNUAL ROADWAY SURFACE TREATMENT: The following roadways will receive a leveler course followed by a Rubber Chip Seal roadway surface treatment.  Cherry Oca Lane, Church Street, Foothill Road, Gates Street, Goodnow Lane, Gryzboska Circle, Linwood Road, Mayflower Circle, Mayhew Street, Mayhew Street Extension, McCarthy Circle, Reservoir Ridge, Rockridge Road, Russell Circle, Russell Road, Russell Road Extension, Salem End Lane, Willowbrook Drive and Winter Lane. Expect moderate delays.

AARON STREET/LORING DRIVE/TRIPP STREET: The Eversource contractor will be installing a gas main and services. Expect moderate delays.

BEAVER STREET AND KENDALL AVENUE: Roadways will receive a Hot Mix Asphalt leveler course. Temporary striping of the roadways and traffic detection devices at the intersections will be restored. Expect significant delays.

CAMPBELL ROAD: The Town will continue replacement of the sewer laterals to the property lines on Campbell Road. Local traffic only. Expect minor delays.

CONCORD STREET (Route 126) DOWNTOWN FRAMINGHAM RECONSTRUCTION: 

            DAYTIME: The contractor will be milling the roadway in the Downtown area north of the   railroad crossing on Concord Street and Union Avenue. One lane of traffic in each   direction will be maintained. Expect delays.

            OVERNIGHT: The Eversource contractors will be doing trench restoration/paving             and lowering castings in anticipation of the daytime roadway reconstruction. Sunday        through Friday, 7:00PM-5:00AM.

PRINDIVILLE AVENUE: Eversource will be installing new services.  Expect minor delays.

ROSE LANE:  The Eversource contractor will be installing a gas main and services.  Expect moderate delays.

ROUTE 9 BRIDGE OVER FOSS RESERVOIR OUTLET:  Construction continues on the southern section of the bridge. Expect moderate delays. 

SEALTEST DRIVE:  On Sunday evening June 26, contractors will be installing a fiberglass grid and finish paving. The roadway will be open to emergency vehicles only.

WORCESTER ROAD (Between Route 126 and the Natick Town Line): Contractors will be surveying and performing soil borings. Expect minor delays.
